A new housing development is in Downtown Tulsa! West 7th Apartments is the latest addition to Downtown Tulsa’s historic Deco District, located at 17 W 7th St.
On Thursday, October 23, 2025, a ribbon cutting ceremony and open house were held in celebration of the new development.
Speakers included Laura Bellis, District 4 City Councilor; Brian Kurtz, President + CEO of Downtown Tulsa Partnership; Gene Bulmash, City of Tulsa Senior Housing Advisor, Karyn Weitl, Acquisitions & Incentives Manager at Partner Tulsa; and Spencer Cullor, Commercial Acquisitions & Development at Cullor Properties.
Highlights from speakers included the City of Tulsa’s effort to increase housing opportunities, Downtown’s growing residential population, and strengthening incentives for developers to bring business to Tulsa.
A former 1960's Holiday Inn, the now West 7th St Apartments is comprised of 117 new apartments and is the first Downtown Tulsa project for Cullor Properties/ApartmentVestors. This project is among nearly 1,000 residential units slated to open in 2025 or currently underway across Downtown Tulsa.
